Night Lights
Did these shots 2 weeks ago while I was out with Daniel Lee, when he spotted this bridge that could potentially frame a decent light trail shot. The one thing that caught my eye was the curves of the bridge, which I felt could add on to the slight distortion that was already visible on the wide end of the 17-40mm. The only let down for that shot was the traffic which didn't create any interesting light trails. I then turned around to look for a more interesting perspectives and spotted the junction/turn in the 2nd shot above. With some timing and luck I manage to catch the 4WD coming to a slow stop at the give way sign.
There! Subject...

One thing I didn't quite understand was why there was Bokeh balls bursting out from the street lights. Hmm...

"Double Date Saturday #2"
Another round of "Double Date Saturday", and this time with Daniel and Karen. This week we had Tapas in Leederville, a first time for me, and I have to say...it's pretty interesting! As you can see from the photos, they looked like finger food, but as the presentation was so good, I couldn't help but snap away (shoot).

Dark Jetty
It's been awhile since I've done any landscapes, and to be honest, I was struggling a little. When I arrived at this Jetty, I was a tat disappointed, as there wasn't a lot happening in the surroundings apart from the strong winds kicking up the tides, and two "Jetty Lamps" shinning.

That being said, the last time I did any decent landscapes was when I was still using my 60D Crop. With the new 6D, I was able to really stretch out my shot and get that tiny bit of distortion happening, which makes things more interesting.

Got more landscapes to come!

"Double Date Saturday"
Last weekend was "Double Date Saturday", and the girls decided on Korean BBQ! One of my personal favorites. Sadly, we didn't actually have any BBQ, and instead got soup and lots of side dishes, which isn't all that bad either. This restaurant is called Gangnam (I think), located at Karawara Perth if anyone's keen to try it out. It's not my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in Perth, but they sure serve up some pretty good dishes!
